Description

Independent Insurance Agency in Orlando is seeking an experienced Agency Marketing Coordinator or Account Manager to join their team to be an Agency Commercial Marketer. Needs to be a self-starter to market mid to larger accounts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Send submissions out to carriers.

Rate quotes online.

Follow up with carriers.

Negotiate terms/conditions/pricing with Underwriters.

Meet with carriers/marketing reps in person or on Zoom/Teams calls with video.

Work directly with producers on their renewals/new business accounts.

220 license preferred with 2-10+ years of demonstrated success in commercial lines insurance with a preference in marketing/placing business or Account Management.

Comprehensive knowledge of the Florida insurance marketplace, with an emphasis on mid to larger commercial risk.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers, underwriters, and clients.

Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Proficiency in insurance carrier platforms, agency management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.

Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, stay organized and adapt in a high-volume environment.
