Job Opportunity: Experienced Cable Technicians Needed!

Location: Louisville, KY
Start Date: August 19th
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Duration: 4-5 Months
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour
# of Techs Needed: 4

Scope of Work:

We are seeking 4 skilled Technicians for a major project in Louisville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project with an enterprise level client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, support, terminate, label, and test CAT6 cables .
• Data Drops
• Cable Management: Properly support any cables not installed in conduit.
• WAP Installation: Install and position WAP locations with customer-provided WAPs.
• Documentation: Record all WAP information in a spreadsheet for the customer.
• Camera Installation: Install and align customer-provided cameras as directed.
• Fiber Installation: Install, splice, terminate, and SM fibers from the new MDF to 4 new IDFs.
• Hybrid Fiber: Install 12-strand Hybrid fiber from the new MDF to the DEMARC location.
• MDF/IDF Installation: Execute MDF/IDF installs.

Tools/PPE:

• Required: Must have both hand tools and PPE.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Lift Operation: Must know how to operate a lift.
• Bonus: Any experience with Panduit is a huge plus!
