Gia is looking for an experienced chef to join our small team. This position encompasses various roles.
Some day-time prep work, which includes both savoury and pastry/baking. (Feeling confident putting a cake in the oven is essential for this role).
Some evening shifts on the line.
We believe in a blend of days and evenings, weekdays and weekends so that the whole team has a reasonable work-life balance.
The most important qualities we look for are:
A real passion for food and cooking. Please no pay-check cooks.
A desire to learn and get better and understand various new cooking processes.
Adaptability and flexibility: we change our menu every week so this requires someone who can learn fast and absorb a lot of information frequently.
Good humour and attitude: we really appreciate our team and working together and like working with fun, positive people. Please, no fun sponges need apply ;-)
Disciplined, clean chefs who know how to organise and maintain their mise en place.
