Job Summary
Price Benowitz, LLP currently has an opening for a Criminal Defense Litigation Attorney to join our criminal defense team and handle cases in York County, South Carolina. We are specifically looking for candidates who are available to work out of Rock Hill, South Carolina , or alternatively, Fort Mill, South Carolina . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney to join a growing and passionate team.
Responsibilities
- Resolve cases efficiently from intake through trial or plea negotiations.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and administrative hearings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the lifecycle of the case.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Supervise and support the development of assigned staff.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of cases assigned.
Requirements
- JD in good standing with the South Carolina Bar .
- At least 3+ years of criminal defense litigation experience .
- Comprehensive knowledge of South Carolina legal procedures and criminal cases.
- PCR and appellate experience (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Previous clerkship experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated history of professional excellence and a passion for client service.
Compensation
Compensation range is based on a combination of a draw and earned commissions.
