The EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager will develop and implement EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, manage emergency preparedness programs, oversee workplace safety training, ensure environmental sustainability practices, and lead audits to maintain certification and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Create and update environmental, health, and safety policies in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and ISO standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement controls to mitigate risks to an acceptable level.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure understanding and compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Lead investigations of EHS incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international EHS regulations through regular audits, inspections, and reporting. Maintain certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
