About the Role:
We are hiring a Technician Specialist for our client in the Furniture Industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installation and Maintenance:
Installing office furniture, chairs, Brewers, and custom kits.
Replacing filters and performing routine maintenance on equipment in Customer offices.
Conducting regular customer installations and inspections to ensure all installs and products are in optimal working condition.
Job Staging:
Receiving incoming jobs and staging them for installation.
Organizing all materials and tools needed for each job.
Coordinating with the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of staged jobs.
Customer Support:
Addressing and resolving any technical issues related to installed products.
Providing excellent customer service and support during and after installations. Maintaining a positive and helpful attitude while assisting customers.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
Technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in furniture installation, maintenance, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Positive mindset and a heart to help customers.
Ability to prioritize tasks and hustle to meet deadlines.
Team player with a responsible and proactive attitude.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
DOT physical requirement
Regular hours are 7AM-4PM with the flexibility at times to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
