Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the city of Norwalk.

DSH-Me tropolitan, Human Resources Department is accepting applications for Nurse Instructor, Permanent/Fulltime.  Working Title : Nurse Instructor - Nursing Education Department.

Under the direction of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN)/Nursing Education Director (NED), the Nurse Instructor will provide training and direction to nursing service staff and student professional nurses in a staff development and continuing education program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and conducting Nursing Orientation classes, conducting Continuing Education classes, conducting Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes, conducting emergency drills on the patient care units, etc.
