Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy is a part of the Confluent Health family of outpatient rehabilitation clinics. We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Richmond, KY at our state-of-the-art, 8,000 square feet facility . OSPT in Richmond, KY provides sports medicine and athletic training for the local school system and treats patients of all ages and activity levels.

Responsibilities:

• Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities.
• Timely documentation
• Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patients’ responses to treatment and progress and reports orally or in writing to Physical Therapist.
• Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
• Gives orientation to new Physical Therapist Assistants and directs and gives instructions to Physical Therapy Technicians

Requirements:

• Physical Therapist licensure in good standing, or the ability to obtain state licensure.
• Experienced Physical Therapists and New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment standards.
