In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
The Role: In this role, you will:
· Work with a cross-functional team under the guidance and mentorship of a Chief Engineer to demonstrate the solutions to some of the United States’ most pressing problems in technique development
· You will help break down and estimate functionality, and provide feedback to project leadership such as improvements to system designs, algorithms or user interfaces as related to signal threats
· You will support and work closely with the Radio Frequency Electronic Warfare and Advanced Electronics (R2E) product line which is focused on developing next generation Electronic Warfare capabilities for the Warfighter.
· Occasionally travel (about 10% of the time) to customer sites for meetings and technical discussions and participate in field events and flight tests. And, have opportunities to develop strong and increasingly complex software skills and stay current in the software discipline

Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Object-Oriented language experience (C++)
- Experienced with Digital Signal Processing
- Experience with intel analysis, waveform generation and modeling and simulation.
- Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience with MATLAB
- Full Life-Cycle Software Development experience
- Experience with Software Defined Radios
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
