Position Overview:
The Retail Marketing Manager will spearhead marketing initiatives that bolster the performance and brand presence of our brick-and-mortar stores across North America. Reporting directly to the President of Läderach North America, this role is crucial for enhancing customer engagement and driving sales at the store level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Support and Strategy Implementation:
    • Craft and implement marketing strategies that directly support our stores, focusing on promotions, local advertising, and impactful in-store displays.
    • Work closely with store managers to tailor campaigns to local markets and enhance the in-store customer experience.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Ability to manage a team with proven leadership skills, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
    • Provide guidance and support in the development of team members’ marketing and analytical skills.
  • Consumer Insights and Market Adaptation:
    • Analyze consumer trends and market dynamics to optimize our offerings and marketing tactics in the retail sector.
    • Adapt strategies based on competitive analysis and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration with International Teams:
    • Coordinate with the international marketing team in Bilten to align on global brand strategies and ensure consistent messaging across markets.
  • Retail and Luxury Market Expertise:
    • Leverage experience in premium/luxury retail (food/small consumables preferred) to enhance brand positioning and attract a discerning clientele.
    • Engage with the culinary and retail food community to stay abreast of the latest trends that could influence our marketing strategies.
  • Operational and Budget Management:
    • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment and meet financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail or luxury goods, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics and consumer behavior in the luxury food sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across different teams and cultures.
  • A passion for food, particularly chocolate, with an understanding of the nuances of premium product marketing.

Pay : $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
