Nursery Retail Specialist – Join Our Team! Do you love working with plants, helping customers, and getting your hands dirty? If so, keep reading! We’re looking for a friendly, plant-loving person to join our nursery team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid of a little dirt. You’ll be helping customers find the perfect plants, maintaining nursery stock, setting up displays, and assisting with daily operations. What You’ll Need: • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn. • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Metchosin. • Steel-toed boots (slippers won’t cut it here!). • The ability to work a flexible schedule— weekends are required. Bonus Points for Experience In: • Garden centers or nurseries. • Retail or customer service. • Horticulture, gardening, or landscaping. If this sounds like a good fit, apply now! Responsibilities: • Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience. • Purpose: To increase customer satisfaction and drive sales. • Manage and organize merchandise on the sales floor to maintain a visually appealing store. • Purpose: To create an inviting shopping environment and increase sales opportunities. • Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately. • Purpose: To ensure a smooth checkout process and maintain financial integrity. • Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers. • Purpose: To provide accurate information and enhance the customer experience. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. • Purpose: To foster teamwork and contribute to the overall success of the retail store. Qualifications: • Excellent customer service skills. • Sales experience in a retail environment. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Proficient in GSuite and ability to learn new systems.
