The
Social Media Manager develops and executes our social media strategy to engage with our audience, build and foster community, and drive brand awareness and loyalty. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media activities.
Crucial to this role is the ability to understand Free Fly’s brand, consumer, creative tone and aesthetic. This position will need to learn the Free Fly brand better than anyone on the team as they plan, manage, and create social posts that meet the expectations of our consumers.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities - Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our business goals and marketing objectives
- Identify target audiences and create engaging content tailored to each platform (Facebook, Youtube, Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) across all social media channels
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to produce authentic, premium, and brand right content that resonate with our audience
- Write and edit compelling copy that reflects our brand voice and drives engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
- Foster and grow an active online community by initiating conversations and engaging with followers
- Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach
- Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns and promotions to support product launches, events, and other marketing initiatives
- Integrate into brand marketing campaigns with writing briefs and strategies that clearly direct other teams to execute social media strategy
- Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of our social media strategy and content
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including key metrics, trends, and insights
- Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize our social media activities
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Explore new social media platforms and opportunities to expand our online presence
- Continuously seek ways to innovate and improve our social media efforts
Minimum Qualifications - 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Metricool, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Experience with paid social media advertising preferred
- Experience with content and creative production preferred
