The Purpose Brand agency is an award winning, full-service public relations, brand and digital content marketing firm in Chicago. Purpose Brand always puts purpose into practice — making brands relevant and communities stronger. Services include media and public relations, brand strategy, content creation, web design and development, content strategy, special events, video marketing and training.We are seeking for immediate hire a part-time Social Media Manager who can develop social media strategies and manage client accounts across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. This position is remote - with the exception of one bi-weekly in-office day.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short and long-term social media strategies
• Write engaging, high-quality copy and plan visual content for social media campaigns
• Develop quarterly performance insights and actions that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client’s goals
• Analyze data to determine effectiveness of each social media campaign
• Build brand awareness and foster online communities by managing daily engagement

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or digital marketing
• Must be located in the Chicago area
• 2+ years of social media marketing experience
• 2 years agency account management preferred
• Excellent writer and grammarian
• Experience with the following B2B verticals preferred: Healthcare, Real-estate, CRE/AEC, Financial Services, Government/Transportation
• Experience within a multicultural practice and passion for multicultural initiatives is a plus
• Be proactive and highly motivated; demonstrate the ability and desire to work independently and confidently, but as part of a team
• Be detail oriented with an ability to focus on the larger picture
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels
• Must be available for immediate hire
