What You Bring to the Table:

• Less than a year of tax prep experience? No problem!
• Must-have: CTEC License (Active/Renewed) & PTIN
• Business Tax Returns preferred but not required
  
• Familiar with Schedules A, B, C, D, and E preparation and nuances
• Experience with amended returns and tax software? Even better!
• Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact-finding questions when presented with limited tax information/source documents.
• Knowledge of accounting processes
• Skilled using tax preparation software and experienced in troubleshooting common tax program problems.
• Book keeping is a huge bonus
• Proficient computer skills
• Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns.
• Strong written and communications skills
