Job Title: Seasonal Advanced Tax Preparer
Company: DP Financial & Tax, Inc.
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Compensation: $35-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Seasonal (30-50 hours)
Overview
DP Financial & Tax, Inc., a well-established accounting and tax firm based in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Seasonal Advanced Tax Preparer to join our team from January to April. We offer competitive hourly rates based on experience and provide opportunities for overtime for those interested.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review accurate tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
Prepare related working papers for income tax returns.
Utilize ProSeries tax software (experience preferred) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and tax calculations.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries.
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and stay updated on changes.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling client information.
Manage workload efficiently, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns.
Proficiency in ProSeries tax software is a plus.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro and trial balance software is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred but not required.
Ability to work full-time during the tax season, with availability for overtime as desired.
