We have an opportunity for you to join the team as the
Visual Content Creator Intern ! The Visual Content Creator Intern will play a hands-on role in bringing GPC’s brands to life through in-person marketing events across our territory. This includes assisting with the planning, communication, and execution of activations such as sampling, giveaways, and brand promotions at retail locations, festivals, concerts, and community events.
Beyond event execution, the Visual Content Creator intern will gain photography and videography experience, capturing content that showcases GPC’s brand presence. They’ll work closely with the marketing team to create compelling visual stories for use across social media, digital platforms, and internal marketing materials. As the summer progresses, the intern’s responsibilities outside of event activations will be shaped by their creative skills and interests, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to GPC’s marketing goals.
“A day in the life of the Visual Content Creator Intern looks like:”- Assist with event planning and logistics – Help coordinate brand activations at retail locations, festivals, concerts, and community events.
- Set up and run sampling events – Engage with consumers, distribute product samples, and educate them about GPC’s brands. Capturing photos and videos for use in promotional materials and social media content.
- Manage giveaway promotions – Create dynamic content (photos, videos, reels) to promote contests, raffles, and prize distributions.
- Create social media content – Shoot and edit event footage, capture product shots, and help craft engaging posts and stories.
- Edit and produce visual content – Edit video clips, enhance images, and compile highlight reels for marketing campaigns.
- Support visual brand storytelling – Help maintain GPC’s visual identity by producing content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Track and analyze event performance – Assist in gathering visual content to support event recaps and highlight consumer engagement.
- Support marketing team projects – Assist with campaign planning, research, or creative brainstorming sessions.
- Communicate with event partners – Coordinate with retailers, vendors, or event organizers to capture key moments and brand exposure.
- Shadow marketing team members – Learn about different roles within the department, with a focus on content creation, creative strategy, and brand development.
- Assist with administrative tasks – Organize supplies, update event calendars, and support day-to-day marketing operations.
What does it take to be the Visual Content Creator Intern?- Currently pursuing a degree in Photography, Videography, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience with DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Strong storytelling abilities through visual content.
- Ability to shoot and edit short-form content for social media.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of social media platforms and digital content strategies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation.
